He was performing at Nazrul Mancha an auditorium in the south of Kolkata and fell ill.

Born to Hindu Malayali parents Krishnakumar Kunnath was brought up in New Delhi. Krishnakumar Kunnath also known as KK seen at a concert in Sydney Australia in 2019. KK sang 3500 jingles before.
